My Story

I wish you are having a wonderful day alongside with your family; God bless you! We are not attending church because of lack of time. We appreciate so much that LW staff shared the gospel with us and encouraged us to seek God and they invited us to go to church with them. My family and I are in good health, thanks to the Lord. My mother is Maria Faustina Chavez Vasquez, and she is 29 years old. She does the housework and takes care of my siblings and me. My father is Miguel Angel Toledo Ramirez, and he is 31 years old. He works as a farmer in the village to get income and cover the family's expenses. My father rents a piece of land in the village to grow corn for our consumption, however, there are times when the crops are not good.

This is Miguel Antonio Toledo Chavez, and I am 8 years old.  I am a second-grade student; my learning is doing well because I receive my teacher´s explanation. My parents are doing the best to support me at school and it is hard for them when my father does not have resources. When I grow up, I would like to become a good farmer and have my own crops. I would like to learn English; I think it is very interesting language. I enjoy playing football which is the sport I like the most. My favorite season of the year is Christmas for the activities. Let me tell you that here in Guatemala, we have a protein drink called “Incaparina”, it is delicious and is my favorite drink. On my birthday, I love eating cake, breaking a “piñata” (kind of puppet filled with candies), and going out somewhere if my parents have resources. Being part of the Living Water is a great blessing for me because I receive tasty meal, medical care in the clinics and they share the gospel with us which is the most important. At home, the primary need for us is groceries, even though the food is expensive God is providing for us. Sending warm hugs hoping to receive news from you. Every kind of blessings to you!

With much love,

Miguel Antonio Toledo Chavez
