My Story

This is Liz Mary del Carmen Galindo Flores, and I am writing this to update my 2023 information. First, I will tell you about my family. We are members of Ebenezer Church, and we attend services on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. We are happy to serve God and we are doing our best to go ahead. We have three dogs and one cat as pets. We are a humble family, and our greatest need is groceries. My father is 34 years old, and he is in good health. He works as a policeman for the municipality. My mother is 27 years old, and she is in good health too. She works hard at home and takes care of us. I want to ask you to pray for my dad because he is suffering from anxiety, and it has been a difficult time for him. He is already receiving psychological help at the Guatemalan Social Security Institute.

Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 11 years old, and I am healthy. I am in 5^th grade, and I am happy to receive face-to-face classes because I pay more attention and play with my classmates. Our economic situation is not so good, so it has been difficult for my father to cover my school expenses. I want to become a doctor when I am older. My favorite celebration is Christmas because my whole family gets together. I enjoy a special family lunch when it is my birthday. I prefer basketball as a sport, and I love drinking water. It would be incredible to learn English language in the future. Living Water is very important in my life, and I am grateful for the medicine and medical attention received.
