My Story

I affectionately say hello to you through this update. This is Mildred Dayana, and I hope everything is running well in your life. At the moment, my family and I do not attend any church. I am glad and grateful to LW because a teacher from the evangelism team shared the gospel with my grandmother, Maria Rosalina Puc. He encouraged her to look for the Almighty and collected all my news to tell you about it. My grandma still lives with us, thankfully. She works as a day laborer to help us with the expenses at home. My mother, Mildred Bucu, is 30 years old. She works hard on a rose farm in Jocotenango town to support our needs. Sadly, I have not heard anything from my father since he left us. His name is Mynor Cay, and I would like to ask for your prayers for him. As for health, we are doing well so far. The house where we live is damaged. Our current need is new tin sheets to fix our home.

Taking advantage of this moment, I want you to know that LW is a crucial project for my family and me. We have received tasty meals at the feeding program. They have been a tremendous help to my family and me. We do not have many domestic animals at home. We only have a playful dog. I am seven years old and this year, I am in first grade again. I agree to receive face-to-face classes because I can focus on learning the lessons and I understand them easily. Fortunately, I have had the school supplies thanks to my mother because she covers them. I would love to become a teacher and speak English when I am older. My favorite season is summer because I love heat and I do not get sick easily. I love celebrating my birthday. What I enjoy the most is eating a delicious birthday cake with my family. I like shakes, but my favorite is strawberry. I like sports, but I prefer soccer because it is much better. I say goodbye to you for now but thank you so much for taking the time to read my news. May God bless you!

Cordiality yours,

Mildred Dayana Cay Bucu
