My Story

Hello, I hope you are well along with your family. It is a pleasure to greet you today. This is Candelaria Cux, your sponsored WIN lady. I want to share some updated information with you today. It has been another great year. I am 83 years old now, and I am so grateful for the many years of life God has blessed me with. As you know, I suffer from arthritis. I have had arthritis for eight years, but I have been under treatment and medication for four years now. I hope you will continue to pray for me and my health. I live with my granddaughter Magdalena Castro, and her husband, Jaime Chingo. Magdalena stays home as the housewife. Jaime is a motorcycle mechanic. Thankfully, they support me and help to provide for my needs. My daughter, Santos Cux, also helps provide financial support for me. She is still living and working in the United States. I also get support from the government through a program called the “Senior Adults Program”. I like to grow a type of squash called “guisquil”. I take very good care of my plants, because when I harvest them, I can sell them and make some money.

I have a good friend named Marta Garcia. She and I have been friends for many years. We love to talk and spend time together. I go to church at Liberty Church in Tunaja. It is an evangelical church that is a part of Living Water. I love participating in all the service. I especially love the celebration service for Mother’s Day. I know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. He is the one who has always been with me. I am encouraged to continue seeking Him and His will for my life. I thank God because He saved me from my old life. When I met Jesus, He pulled me out of my sins and bad cycles. Now I am free, and I am born again.
