My Story

It is my pleasure to send my greetings in this opportunity hoping you are fine alongside your lovely family! Praise the Lord my family and I attend Ebenezer Church, and we go on Tuesdays and Fridays. We appreciate so much the encouraging words that LW staff gave us. We are going through hard times and God is our support even though we cannot see the solution. I am fine, but I want to ask for your prayers for my mother´s health. She suffers from her nerves; she is taking medicines for it. My father was Josue Eduardo Gomez, and he passed away about 4 years ago. My mother is Midia Emilia Hernandez Dionicio, and she is 39 years old. She works by doing cleaning and taking care of an elderly lady.

My name is Lucas Santiago Gomez Hernandez, and I am a 9-year-old boy. I am a third-grade student; my learning is going well because I receive classes at school, and I comprehend the lessons better. Supporting me at school is hard for my mother because my mother does not earn very much, especially now that everything has increased. When I grow up, I would like to be an architect, so I need to study hard. Let me tell you, the language that catches my attention is English, so I want to learn it. The climate I prefer is summer because I can play in the water on sunny days. The sport I like the most is football. About drinks, I love drinking orange juice. To celebrate my birthday, one aunt invites me to lunch, and my mother prepares snacks to eat together; they make my day! We are so grateful to Living Water for the tasty meals, medical attention in the clinics, and the spiritual support which is very important. The greatest needs are groceries and shoes. I hope you like my letter and I hope to receive news from you. Every blessing for you!
