I am Gerson Jose Gomez Gomez, and I am glad to greet you through this. I hope this finds you doing well. I am twelve years old. This year I am in sixth grade. Currently, I am taking face-to-face classes at school three days per week. The time the feeding program was closed due to the pandemic, I missed a lot the Bible teachings. For me to get there, it takes twenty minutes by walking. My father works at a plant nursery and as well as selling firewood from door to door. He lives with us and also provides financially for us. My mom stays home doing the chores. Weekends it’s the time we can spend together. On Christmas my family and I stayed home only. Three months ago I started attending Upper Room Church that is located fifteen minutes from home by walking.
We live at my grandmother’s house. We do not pay for it. There are two rooms and separate kitchen. The house is made of mud-brick, concrete floor and tin sheet roof which tin sheets are not fixed in a good way, for that reason, water gets into the house. It has electricity and running water. The house condition is fair. In the beginning of the pandemic there was lack of work, so it affected us. Food supplies is a greatest need for us, that’s why, I thank to the feeding program for the grocery bags we received, so it was all a great help at home. Please pray for us to continue to believe God, for he has been faithful to us all this time. Thank God, we are all doing well for now. To finish, I want you to know, I gave this information in person to an Evangelism team member to share with you my last news. I say good bye to you for now. Thank you for reading this.
