My Story

My full name is Marelyn Marisol Gutierrez Gomez, and I am glad to say hello to you from the beautiful mountains in Quiche. Fortunately, I am a healthy 11-year-old girl. I am repeating fourth grade this year. I attend school in the morning. After school, I can attend the feeding program to enjoy delicious meals. My favorite food is fried chicken. I want you to know that my family and I are grateful to LW-Adopt A Child for blessing us so much. For instance, a teacher of the LW evangelism team shared the gospel with my mom as an encouragement to seek the Lord and attend church since we have not done it yet.

Talking about my family, let me tell you that everybody is doing well. My father only occasionally visits us because he has another family. However, he helps us economically. He makes a living as a mason. My mom is single and works to cover our needs and expenses. She works in a store where they sell chicken pieces. I beg you to pray for her so the Lord heals her heart and makes her brave and strong to move forward with us. In advance, thank you so much! To end this letter, let me tell you that I enjoyed celebrating Christmas at the feeding program last year. What I liked the most was receiving a gift. I will leave you now, but I want you to know it was a privilege to share my information. Have a great day!
