My Story

Hello! My name is Gerber Moises and it is a blessing to greet you. Besides sharing a little bit about my life, I thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter. I live with my parents and youngest sister. We still attend Grace Treasures. We usually have services on Wednesdays and Fridays. My father, Rolando Catalino Dolores, is 43 years old. He makes a living by cleaning houses or buildings. My mother also works by performing the same occupation to support our needs. My mother’s name is Silvia Jeaneth Perez and she is 42 years old. As for health, let me tell you that we are all doing well. Because of the pandemic, my parents ran out of work, which impacted our economy. We are getting better, although my parents strive to support my school supplies since those are pricey. What we need the most are clothes, shoes, and food. I want to use this opportunity to thank LW for bringing us the holy gospel. Besides that, we have received so much help, especially in the most challenging moments. We only have a lovely cat at home as a pet.

I am in seventh grade and I am glad to receive face-to-face classes. I understand so much better the teachers’ explanations. My favorite sport is basketball and I love drinking Coca-Cola. I would love to become a lawyer and speak English when I am older. The summer season is my favorite because I love heat and it is a perfect season to enjoy with our loved ones. I had my thirteenth birthday in February. There are many things to celebrate a new year of life, but spending time with my family and having a delicious cake are things that I enjoy doing the most. To end this letter, let me tell you that my mother gave all my news to an AAC member to inform you. I will leave you now, but I send you my best wishes.
