My Story

Hello! How are you? I wish you many blessings upon your lives. I am Junior Alexsander Coj Tzoc, and I am happy to write you about me. My family raises pigs for selling and improving our income. We also grow corn, but it is for our consumption. At the moment, we are in need of groceries since our income is low. My father works as a farmer, and he is in good health. His name is Alberto, and he is 35 years old. My mother works hard at home, and she is in good health. Her name is Irma, and she is 31 years old. We know that God is good with us, and we attend the mass on Sunday; we are members of the Catholic Church.

Thankfully, I am healthy, and I like playing soccer. I am 9 years old, and I would like to become a mechanic when I am older. I have to improve my Spanish because I speak Quiche dialect as my first language. It would be nice to receive a cake for my birthday. My favorite drink is orange juice, and I love Christmas celebration because I can eat the traditional “tamales”. I am in 2nd grade, and I prefer to attend school in person because I learn more. It has been difficult for my parents to buy my school supplies, but they are doing their best. Living Water is very important for me, and I am grateful for the food received at the feeding program. I close my letter hoping to have news from you soon.

All the best
