My Story

Hello! I fondly write this letter to update you about my life. I hope this finds you doing well and having success in all your daily activities. My name is Lesbia Yomara Tino Morente and I am 12 years old. I am in sixth grade and I have attended the feeding program for about six years. What I like the most is learning about Jesus during the Bible lessons that I receive before having my meals. Thankfully, I am in good health and I have the privilege of serving in the youth group of my church. I attend the Prince of Peace Church and the fellowship motivates my family and me to preserve there. My mother does not have doubts about her salvation because she received Jesus Christ in her heart. She is doing well and keeps busy doing the household chores. I usually help her to sweep and wash the dishes.

I am glad because she is teaching me how to make tortillas. While I am performing the task, I prefer that the weather turns cold because it is much better. The main supporter of my family is my father. He is doing well and makes a living as a day laborer and farmer. Taking advantage of this opportunity, I want you to know that my parents appreciate all the blessings that my sister and I have received at LW-Adopt A Child. They had the opportunity to go there when they were children, so they felt motivated to send us there because it is secure place. They remember that they were welcomed with so much joy, and they took part in the soccer matches. It is time to say goodbye, but I hope to hear from you soon.
