My Story

This is Lesly Marisol Quixan Ixchop, and I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to tell you about my life. First, I will tell you about my family. Currently, we are members of the Full Gospel Church, and we attend services on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. We are grateful to LW Evangelism team because they have shared us the gospel and have encouraged us to continue trusting in God. We are a humble family, and our greatest needs are groceries and shoes. We raise hens but they are for our consumption. My father’s name is Pablo, and he is 40 years old. He works as a mechanic and covers our needs. I would like to ask you to pray for him since he was diagnosed with diabetes. He already visited a doctor, and he is taking medicine. My mother’s name is Vicenta. She is 37 years old, and she is in good health. She is a housewife, and she also tends her small grocery store.

Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 12 years old, and I am healthy. I have vision problems and I have not visited a doctor, so the evangelism team told me that I can attend LW clinics to be checked, and I hope to do it soon. I am in sixth grade, and it is better for me to attend school in person because I can share time with my classmates and the homework doubts are clarified. It has been difficult for my parents to cover my school supplies because my other siblings are studying too. I want to become a doctor or teacher in the future. I would like to learn English. Christmas is my favorite year’s celebration because I like sharing time with my family. I love drinking Coca-Cola, and I prefer cycling as a sport. I enjoy going out to eat for my birthday. Living Water is very important for me because they have supported me in a big way. I wish you the best.

With much love
