My Story

Hello! My name is Kleo Hysa. I am 9 years old, and my birthday is on December 12^th. I am doing well and my health is good. My favorite color is blue, and my future dream is to become a footballer. I like to be trained well in football and hope to be taken from a football team so that I can become a well-known player. This year I am happy to see the World Cup on TV. Before I desired to be a policeman, but I have changed my future dream at present. I go to school and am in third grade. My favorite subject is Albanian. I am doing better in reading than in Mathematics. After school I get together with my friends to play football in the sport field of the school, and we play also this game at the field of the program. I have a sister who is 10 years old. She goes to school and is also in the program. We spend quite a lot of time playing together while we are both inside the house. We also sit and study the schoolbooks together and as an older sister, she helps me to study well and have my homework done good. She is also in the program and we go there together. We enjoy going in the Bible classes and learning about the Lord. Afte the Bible lessons, we have other activities and games, and I enjoy especially the time when we all gather to play football. I live in a village near the town of Prrenjas. We go to this town very often, especially during the weekends when they have the open market day. My house is in the village and is in good condition. I have four members in my family who are my parents, older sister as well as me. This year my father worked in Greece for three months. He got hired in agriculture and after three months he returned in the village. He is trying to find different jobs in construction or working on the lands of the people in the village to earn a bit more of income to provide for our family. My parents have quit dealing with farming, so they are not planting a whole lot in the fields we own. We have only several chickens to get fresh eggs for consumption, and the other groceries we need to buy in the shops. My mother has planted on spring the vegetable garden and we are constantly consuming these products, without buying them. My mother is at present busy with the garden, because the vegetables need to be watered very often, but soon we are going to start consuming fresh products brought forth from our own garden. My sister and I receive food constantly as help from the program of Adopt a Child. The food is cooked in the house and our whole family is blessed.
