My Story

I am so excited to greet you in the name of Jesus hoping you are fine! Praise the Lord that my family and I attend Prince of Peace Church, and we go twice per week. We have already accepted Jesus in our hearts. My family and I are in good health, thanks to the Lord. My mother is Regina Ruiz, and she is 36 years old. She does the chores at home and sells natural juice and “granizadas” (shaved ice with fruit, and syrup flavor) in Zacualpa´s market all week to contribute to the income. She also raises hens. My father is Gregorio Nas, and he is 40 years old. He earns a living by farming the land and being a day laborer. At home, we grow corn and black beans for the family's consumption.

I am Francisco Ariel, and I will turn 12 years old in September of this year. I am a fifth-grade student; I like receiving classes at school because I comprehend the lessons, so it is easy for me to do the homework. Nowadays, everything is expensive, and it is difficult for my parents to cover them because of a lack of resources. This year it was very hard to buy the uniforms. When I grow up, I would like to be a teacher. The language I would like to learn is English; it is so interesting. Let me tell you I love orange juice because it is delicious. The sport I like the most is football. I like spending time with my family and at Christmas, we have a joyful time. Let me tell you that my family celebrates my birthday by buying me a delicious cake, I like it. I am so grateful to Living Water for the tasty meals and medical attention in the clinics because it is a big blessing for me and my family. At home, the primary needs for us are black beans, noodles and corn. Sending much love. Many and rich blessings to you!

Lots of love,

Francisco Ariel Nas Ruiz
