My Story

Hello! I am so happy to be able to write you again. First, I would like to express my gratitude for giving me the opportunity to be part of the feeding program and receive free lunch, medical attention and the most important thing which is God’s Word. This is Angela Veronica Luis Calel, and I turned 12 years old in May. Thank God, I attend school and I am in 6th grade. I feel so happy because it is the last one of Primary School. I have been attending the feeding program for about eight years. At home, I help to wash clothes. I love the cold season. Thankfully, I am healthy. I enjoy cleaning at church because I know that I serve God.

My family would like to express their gratitude for the support you provide me through LW. My father still works farming the land and working as a day laborer. My mother stays at home doing the chores. She helps to improve our income by raising and selling hens. She has a cow too. I would like to ask for your prayers for my parents’ health. My father suffers from diabetes, and he takes natural medicine. My mother suffers from gastritis, and she received attention in a Public Health Center. My mother has fond memories of when she attended the feeding program in her childhood. She liked the delicious food. We are members of the Catholic Church, and we attend a Charismatic group. All I can do is thank you for your kindness. I pray that God multiplies the blessings you share with us. Please take care of yourself!
