My Story

I greet you affectionately through this letter and I hope you are receiving many blessings from God! Praise the Lord my family and I attend Methodist Church; we go on Mondays and Fridays. We have accepted Jesus in our hearts as our Lord and savior, but we appreciate so much the encouraging words that LW staff gave us this time. By the grace of God, we are in good health. My father is Cristobal De La Cruz Jimon, and he is 44 years old. He is a musician and has his own music studio where he works to supply the family's needs. My mother is Martina Morente Us, and she is 40 years old. She is a housewife, and she also raises hens and pigs for selling to get some extra income. We grow corn and black beans for the family's consumption.

I am Manuela Roxana de la Cruz Morente, and I am a 10-year-old girl. I am a third-grade student; my learning has improved a lot since I receive classes at school. Nowadays, school supplies are very expensive, and it is hard for my parents to cover them because of a lack of resources. My dream is to study and become a teacher in the future. English is abvery interesting language so; I would like to learn it. I like to play soccer in my free time; it is the sport I like the most. I love drinking lemonade; it is my favorite beverage. I wait so excitedly for my birthday because I celebrate it alongside my family; I enjoy my day. My family and I like Christmas time, and we take time to be together. I take this opportunity to thank you for all the support I receive from you through Living Water; the meals are a great blessing for me, and it is an economic savings for my parents. At home, we are in need of groceries. So long. May God bless you abundantly!
