Child
I fondly greet you, hoping this letter finds you keeping well. I am excited to write this letter because I want you to know that thanks to your generosity, LW-Adopt A Child continues blessing many children in my community. My name is Wendy Lucrecia Sicajau Ruiz and I have attended the feeding program for about seven years. Before eating, I receive Bible lessons and what I like the most is learning new stories. I am 12 years old and fortunately, I am a healthy girl. I am in sixth grade at school and I usually wash the dishes and do other tasks to contribute to the household chores. I prefer cold weather because I like feeling the refreshing air, while I stay in the field taking care of the sheep. I like participating in activities of my church, like catechism. I attend the Catholic Church alongside my family. We feel motivated to go there because everybody encourages each other and visits people, especially the sick.
I tell you that my mother is a busy housewife and works hard alongside my older brother to contribute to the expenses. They raise and sell chickens and cows. They also sell radishes, and cabbages that they produce by themselves. About my father, I tell you that he continues living and working in the United States. He has a stable job taking care of the pigs. He is in touch with us every three days and sends us financial support every fifteen days. To end this letter, I tell you that my parents had the opportunity to be part of the feeding program when they were children. Their most beautiful memories are receiving Bible lessons and having delicious meals. Due to their nice experience, they felt encouraged to take my brother and me there. See you later!
Kind regards,
Wendy Lucrecia Sicajau Ruiz
