I fondly greet you from the beautiful mountains in Guatemala. How are you doing? This is Maggali Ester de la Cruz Garcia, your friend. In this opportunity, I want to tell you a little about my life. Thankfully, I am a healthy 14-year-old girl. I am in sixth grade this year. I attend school on the morning shift. Then, I help my grandfather with his work in the field. I like spending time with him and my grandmother on weekends. I also enjoy attending my church. My family and I have been members of the LW Liberty Church for many years. I am glad because my parents and oldest sister already welcomed Jesus into their hearts. Fortunately, they and the rest of my family are in good health. My mom and sister keep busy with the housework and raising chickens to sell. They help my father a little economically with the income from the sales. As for my father, let me tell you that he drives a dump truck. Besides that, he grows corn for our consumption.
We are all grateful to the Lord because our brethren from LW-Adopt A Child bless us with medicine for free. I can have delicious meals at the feeding program alongside my siblings. The food that I like the most is fried chicken. When Christmas comes, my siblings and I get excited because the LW staff gives us a lovely gift to all of us. I will leave you now, but I want you to know it was a pleasure to write this updated information to you. See you later!
Warm hugs,
Maggali Ester de la Cruz Garcia
