My Story

Hello! I greet you cordially and I send you all the best in this beautiful day. I am Wendy Alejandra Morente Ajqui. Thankfully, we are attending the Methodist Christian Church and we like to celebrate the thanksgiving service for our crops. My mother was encouraged to continue persevering in our church by LW team during the visit. She trusts in God and she is assured of her salvation. For me, Jesus is the son of God, my provider, and he always helps us. I want to tell you that my father tried to travel to the United States three times, but it was impossible to achieve his plan. He had a debt because he borrowed money to pay his travels, but God provided a job for him and he is paying the debt. He continues working as a mason helper in our village, and although I know it is a difficult time for him, God always is helping him. His name is Pedro.

It has been a hard experience for our family, but God is with us and I feel his presence in my heart. My mother`s name is Marta and nowadays she is embroidering typical clothing. Moreover, she raises and sells hens to support my father with the home expenses. I am studying the 6<sup>th</sup> grade at school this year and I am a healthy twelve year old girl. I have a nice connection with my sister Marta. My best friend`s name is Leidy and we like to play football together. I am thankful to God because my family and I are doing fine and in good health. I send you many greetings from the bottom of my heart!
