My Story

Hello, what a blessing to greet you! My name is Yulisa, and I hope this finds you doing well. Let me tell you that my family and I do not attend any church at the moment. However, we could listen to the gospel thanks to the LW staff. They encouraged us to look for God and collected this information for you. The program provides so much spiritual and material help for many children and families. We think it is a meaningful project, therefore we hope the Lord spills many gifts upon the staff and good-hearted people like you who contribute to blessing many lives. My mother, Margarita Chiche, is 30 years old. She helps my father with the expenses by working in her own business; she has a small grocery store. My father, Carlos Gomez, is 27 years old. He makes a living as a superintendent. I look up to my parents because they do their best for our family, although it is complicated for them to cover my school expenses and those of my siblings.

Our priorities are clothes and shoes. My whole family and I are doing well, although I suffer from myopia and astigmatism. I am not wearing glasses at the moment because my parents do not have enough resources to buy them. I am ten years old and I look forward to becoming an architect. Therefore, I am doing my best at school as a third-grade student. Currently, I receive face-to-face classes, and I like this better because I understand the lessons so much better thanks to the explanations of my teacher. I also would like to learn how to speak a new language like English, so I hope to accomplish it in the future. My favorite season is summer; I take advantage of that season to play in the water with my siblings. I like drinking Coca-Cola and my favorite hobby is riding my bike. My birthday was in August and what I loved the most was eating a delicious and special meal to celebrate with my family. I have a lovely dog at home. This is all for now, but I hope to tell you more about my pet soon. I also would like to know about your life someday, so I am already waiting for it excitedly. See you later!
