My Story

It is my pleasure to greet you through this and I hope our Lord is blessing you! Praise the Lord my family and I attend a Christian Church; we go on Tuesdays and Sundays. My family and I are in good health, thanks to the Lord. My father is not in my life because he has already died. My mother is Ruth Maribel Hernandez, and she is 46 years old. She does her best to supply the family’s needs by doing cleaning for others to get income. My pet is a dog.

I am Jhoah Antonio Cano Hernandez, and I am a 15-year-old boy. I am a ninth-grade student; I like to receive classes at school because it is easy for me to comprehend the lessons. Supporting me at school is hard for my mother because she is a single parent and does not earn much. So, I am thankful for the struggles she does for me. I want to continue with my studies and be a technician in computers. The languages I would like to learn are English and Cakchiquel Mayan dialect; those are very interesting for me. The sport I like the most is basketball. I love drinking Horchata, and it is my favorite beverage. I like Christmas time; I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I get so happy when my birthday comes, I like to share a cake with my friends. Being part of Living Water has blessed my life. I receive tasty meals and support in many ways which is so helpful for me and my family. Our priorities at home include purchasing groceries, shoes, and providing support for school.
