My Story

Hello! It is a pleasure to greet you, and I hope you are receiving many blessings from God in your daily life. I want to share some news about my family and me through this letter. I want to tell you that we continue attending the Catholic Church regularly, and we are grateful to the LW evangelism team who shared the gospel with me during the visit and for their encouraging words. As you know, my mother abandoned us 5 years ago, and I continue living with my grandmother and father.  My father´s name is Juan Jose Gomez Chonay. He is 37 years old. At the moment, he continues working as a gardener in order to contribute to the home expenses. My grandmother`s name is Ana Chonay, and she does chores at home and takes care of the family. By the grace of God, all my family and I are in good health.

I am Sindy Carolina Gomez Santos, and I am 14 years old. This year, I am in 7th grade at school. I am receiving face-to-face classes every day, and with this study method, I receive a better explanation from my teacher about homework. Nowadays, my father is making an effort to support me at school in spite of the school fees being so expensive and that he does not have a stable job. When I am older, I want to become a policewoman. I speak Spanish where I live, but I would like to learn the Japanese language. Summer is my favorite season of the year because I go out for a walk. Lemonade is what I like to drink. I have 2 cats and 10 chickens at home. I like to go out for a walk with my father for my birthday. Among sports, I prefer basketball. My family and I are grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed in our lives for instance with meals, medical and dental care and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive at year`s end. Thank you for reading my letter. I hope you like it!

Warm regards,

Sindy Carolina Gomez Santos
