My Story

Hello! It is a blessing for me to update you about my life. I am Dymari Nicol Gonzalez Galindo, and I hope you and your loved ones are doing well. Let me tell you that I am 13 years old. Currently, I am a seventh-grade student and receive face-to-face classes three times per week. My mother tops up the phone with internet plans. When I do homework, I usually look for extra information there. Last year, I studied at home because of the virus. Thankfully, that did not affect me, and I am doing a good job at school. After classes, I enjoy my free time watching videos on social media. Sadly, my father left our home about one year ago, and since then, he does not support our family necessities. Therefore, my mother strives daily and works as a house cleaner to move us forward. When she rests, we spend good moments with her at home. We are members of God’s Love Church, which is close to our home. Because of our religion, we do not celebrate Christmas as many people do. But last year, my whole family and I went there on December 25th to carry out a normal service. We also went there on December 31st to receive the new year. Unfortunately, we could not attend it for several months during the pandemic, and we felt sad. Now, it is open again, and my mother has the privilege to serve there. We live in our own house made of concrete block walls, a tin sheet roof, and a concrete floor. It has two rooms, a separate kitchen, electricity and running water. Even though there were not many work opportunities, God has provided us with what is necessary, and we are healthy. However, our current necessities are groceries and prayers, so I would like to count on your prayers because they are important in our lives. Luckily, the feeding program is open again. Being part of the program has been a blessing for my family and me in the most challenging moments. I usually walk for two minutes from my home along with my youngest brother to enjoy delicious lunches at Living Water. Finally, let me tell you that my mother gave this information to the evangelism team member to share with you my last news. I leave you now, but if you want to know something else about my life, feel free to ask me.

Huge and warm hugs,

Dymari Nicol Gonzalez Galindo
