My Story

Hello! I greet you and I wish you a successful day alongside your loved family. I am Cheisy Eliseo Ruiz Garcia, and I am 9 years old. I want to let you know that we continue attending the Prince of Peace Church every Sunday and Thursday. Thank you to the LW evangelism team who shared the Gospel with my mother and for encouraging her. Thank God, this year I am in 2^nd grade at school. I continue receiving face-to-face classes, and I am learning so far! I hope to pass my grade with God`s help. My mother is making an effort to support my sister and me at school even though she does not have a stable and good job. Nowadays, school supplies are so expensive, and it is difficult for her to cover all school expenses. My dream is to become a professional football player. My native language is the Quiche Mayan dialect, so I would like to learn English; I think this is a very interesting language. My favorite celebration of the year is Christmas because I like to see the fireworks. I prefer to drink sodas. Soccer is my favorite sport. What I like to do for my birthday is to sing the song “Happy Birthday to You”. By the grace of God, my family and I are in good health.

My mother`s name is Francisca Garcia Tiu. She is 28 years old. Currently, she continues doing chores at home. In addition, she waves typical clothes to sell and get some income. As you know, my father abandoned the family 9 years ago, so my mother is the only one that supports us with our expenses. As a humble family, our current needs are corn, groceries, and clothes. We are grateful to you and to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support.
