My Story

Hello! I greet you cordially and hope you have a successful and brilliant day. I want to share some news about my family and me through this letter. I am Cristina Yorleny Rabanales Giron, and I am 14 years old. Nowadays, we do not attend any church. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team who shared the gospel with my sister and for their encouraging words. This year, I am in 8th grade at school. I am receiving face-to-face classes and I am learning a lot and easier with this study method. Currently, my parents are making an effort to support my sister and me at school in spite of the school fees being so expensive and that they do not have a stable job. In the future, I want to become a nurse. I speak Spanish where I live, so I would like to learn English; I think this is a very interesting language. My favorite season of the year is summer because we take advantage of the weather and go out with my family. Coffee is my favorite beverage. Soccer is the sport that I prefer. What I like to do for my birthday is to spend that day with my family.  Thank God, my family and I are in good health.

My mother`s name is Mirna Cristina Giron Ordoñez. She is 35 years old. At the moment, she earns a living by working as a maid in order to help with home expenses. My father`s name is Yener Alberto Rabanales Lopez.  He is 38 years old. He works as a taxi driver, and he supports our family financially even though he is separated from us. We have some turtles, fish, a cat, 4 dogs, 3 parakeets, and a parrot at home. As a humble family, our needs are groceries. We are very grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive every year´s end. I hope you like to read my letter. May God bless you greatly!

Huge hugs,

Cristina Yorleny Rabanales Giron
