Hello! I greet you through this letter and I hope our Lord takes care of you and your whole family. I live with my parents and two brothers. I have another brother but from a different father and he went to live with him. Both my father and mother are working. My mother works doing the cleaning in a school. My father works in the maintenance area for a jewelry business. Thank God we are in good health. I am in fourth grade and thank goodness I am not repeating my grade. For now I do not work but I help with the chores at home. One of my saddest moments was when my parents had some serious problems and they decided to separate. That was a sad day for me. Fortunately, they talked and resolved their differences and got back together and it made me so happy.
We have gatherings at home for our birthdays. We eat cake, “tostadas” (typical Guatemalan homemade snacks) and bread with chicken. I enjoy going out to the park with my family and we have a cheerful time together. My goal is to continue with my studies in order to have a better future. My family and I attend church once in a while. I like the Bible classes and the praises too. When we have some problem at home, we talk to resolve it, and we apologize to each other and pray to our Lord asking Him to make peace between us. I want to ask for your prayers for my family and that our Lord helps us and takes care of us. I say good-bye to you for now but I send you kisses and hugs. May God bless you always!
With much love
Luis Israel Bautista Rustrian
