My Story

Hello, it is a pleasure to greet you today. I hope you are doing well along with your loved ones. I am Oscar Alfredo Gomez Ajquí. I am 12-year-old boy who lives in Guatemala. I live in a town called Chuchucá. It is a very rural place in the mountains. I am in fifth grade now, and I am grateful that we are about to finish the school year. It has been a good year. God has protected us and provided much peace and joy for us. We are grateful for his presence and His provision. We go to Church of Christ. Our favorite services are the thanksgiving services they do. We love going and spending time giving thanks to God for always being faithful and good to us. Thankfully, we are all in good health. My dad, Diego Gomez Ruiz, is a typical labor worker. He works so he can provide for our family with what he earns. My mom stays at home and takes care of the housework and chores. Her name is Juana Ajquí De León.

She is a hard worker as well. When I go to church I like to learn about Jesus. I know that He is the Lord and He loves me so much. We are very close family. I love spending time with my cousins. They are very important to me, and I spend most of my time with them, playing and talking. I also love spending time with my best friend, Kevin. He has been my friend since we were little boys. We love going out and playing football together. I hope you will pray for me and my family. I thank you for taking the time to read my information and making me feel so special.
