My Story

It is a great joy in my heart to greet you through this hoping our Lord is blessing you! I am Kateryn Sofia Paola Palacios Herreras. I am an 11-year-old girl. At school, I am in 5^th grade; my classes are on the afternoon shift. I like to sleep a bit more on weekends when I have more time. The meal I love the most is noodles with sauce. My mother sells different products in the market to contribute to the home needs. My father does his best to supply our needs and he sells sweets on the buses to get oncome.

We continue attending Bethania Christian Church; we all have welcomed Jesus into our hearts. I get so happy when I receive the Christmas gift in the feeding program because I receive Jesus´ message and love from the brethren. My family and I are so grateful for all the support to me; the food and medical care are a big help for me. Besides that, I receive great support from you. I would like to join the LW staff someday to serve other children like I have received since I registered in the program. I want you remember my family in your prayers, especially my father who suffers from diabetes. He is taking medicines to keep stable. Moreover, my brother is fairly well and his asthma is under control so far. Let me tell you that my mother gave this information to the LW staff to share news about me. For now, that is all.
