My Story

Hello! Madrina how are you? I hope you and your family are doing fine and receiving the blessings of Jesus in your daily life.  In this opportunity I want to share with you some news about my family and me through this little letter. My mother`s name is Sonia Elizabeth Castillo Jerez. She lives with us and she is in good health. Currently, she works as a maid in the mornings. Moreover, she continues working with her tortillas business in the afternoon in order to provide for our financial needs.  As a family, we are attending the Catholic Church from Dueñas. The LW team shared the gospel with my grandmother and encouraged her to continue attending the Church during the visit and we are grateful for their words. I ask for your prayers for the welfare of my family.

I am Mariana Angelica del Rosario Castillo Jerez and I am 10 years old. I am a healthy girl. I am in 5^th grade at school this year. I go to study in the mornings from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 pm and I am doing my best at school. I spend my weekends by helping my mother in her tortillas business. I like to attend the Duenas Feeding Program because they blessed me with spiritual support, medicines through the medical clinic and delicious meals for lunch. I love to eat every plate that they serve there. I want to let you know that I enjoyed the special activities during the Christmas celebration at the Feeding Center in December. My family and I are grateful for every benefit that I receive from the LW Ministry. Thank you for your support and love. May God bless you greatly!
