My Story

Hello! This is Meyrin Esmeralda Paredes Callejas and I want you to know that I feel so blessed to belong to the Feeding Program for ten years. My mother registered me when she saw many children coming to the Project. Now, I enjoy the benefits with hot meals, medical and dental services for free, and she is thankful to LW for blessing my life.

I am sixteen and I am not studying this year, but I am earning a living by selling bread. Moreover, I help do the cleaning at home on weekends. I love cold weather. I am a healthy girl. I live with my mother at home and she makes a living to sustain the family by working as a maid. In addition, she picks coffee beans during the season, and she takes me to help her when I am on vacation from classes. I would like to ask for your prayers for her because she is suffering from hearing problems. She visited the public doctor from the municipality and is under medical treatment.

Unfortunately, we are not persevering in any church, but the LW teacher shared the gospel to my mother and she was encouraged to seek God and trust him. She provided all this information during the visit and the teacher also prayed for my whole family that we may have food and provision always. Thank you for blessing my life. I love you so much,
