My Story

Hello, good morning! My full name is Juan Carlos de la Cruz de la Cruz and I am pleased to write this letter to share a little about my life with you. I am 15 years old, and I no longer attend school due to a lack of financial resources. I was in sixth grade last year. Today, I am dedicated to helping my father with the chores in the field. He makes a living as a day laborer and farmer. While we work hard outside, my mother keeps busy doing the chores. She also sells chickens, pigs, coriander, and pigs to contribute to the expenses. I like both cold and hot weather because they are good and important for our environment. I have attended the feeding program for about six years.

This organization has blessed me with food and medicine for free, which my parents appreciate so much. First, they sent my older siblings and realized that this organization provided children with essential benefits like spiritual guidance. Therefore, they felt confident to send me there. About my spiritual life, I tell you that my whole family and I attend the Catholic Church. One of our main motivations to go there is the fellowship. If you are sick or in trouble, our siblings in Christ organize themselves to visit and encourage you. I am pleased to tell you that my father has assurance of being admitted into heaven because he accepted Jesus Christ in his heart. Sister Sandra (a member of the LW staff) recently congratulated and encouraged him to continue moving forward. I will leave you now, but I thank you so much for reading my information.
