My Story

Hi! I greet you cordially and I hope you are blessed by our Lord Jesus.  I want to share with you a little about my family and me. I am Beatriz Nahomy Garcia Mancilla and I am 14 years old. Nowadays, we continue attending Sheep Shelter Church three days a week. My mother´s name is Roberta Mancilla Sanchez. She is 53 years old. Currently, she works as a maid in order to contribute to home expenses. My father´s name is Oscar Garcia Luna.  He is 72 years old. As you know, he is retired from his job due to his elderly age. I want to tell you that we have 1 dog and some chickens at home. As a humble family, our current needs are groceries, a bed, and school supplies. I want to ask for your prayers for me because I am suffering from low blood pressure.  Fortunately, I went to the local hospital and now I am under medical treatment. Thank God my family is in good health.

This year I am in 8th grade at school. I receive face-to-face classes every day and I learn a lot with this study method and can do my homework better. At the moment, school fees are expensive, but my parents are making an effort to support me with school expenses. I want to become a bilingual secretary in the future. I speak Spanish where I live, but I would like to learn English and French which are interesting languages. My favorite season of the year is summer because I have a week of vacation from school and I like to rest in that time. I prefer to drink hot chocolate and milk. What I like to do for my birthday is to eat a delicious cake and share it with my family.  Among sports, I prefer gymnastics.  My family and I are so grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive every December. May God bless you and take care of you!

Huge hugs,

Beatriz Nahomy Garcia Mancilla
