My Story

It is a great blessing for me to say hello to you through this letter. I am Carlos Jebran and before telling you about my life, I appreciate you for taking the time to read this. My family and I attend Jehovah is my Shepherd. We usually have services on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I only live with my mother. She has done her best for me as a single mother. Her name is Mayra Alejandra Cabrera and she is 38 years old. She makes a living by washing, ironing, and doing errands for other people. My father left us many years ago. We have heard he has another family and works as a taxi driver. My mother and I praise the Lord because our health condition is good. Besides that, we have received so much help from LW. For instance, the groceries have been a tremendous blessing for us. As for pets, let me tell you that we only have one dog.

I am fourteen years old and this year, I am in eighth grade. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because I understand lessons better. My mother does her best for me, but our financial situation is not strong enough to cover my school supplies. We are going through serious economic problems. Our greatest needs are food and clothes. Therefore, I would like to count on your prayers for my mom and me to move forward. I would love to become a policeman and speak English someday. Christmas is a cheerful time that I love to spend with my mom and friends. My favorite drink is Coca-Cola and I love soccer. I had my birthday in January. If there are enough resources at home, my mother buys a delicious cake to celebrate my day.
