My Story

This is Wesly Donovan, and I am glad to say hello to you through this letter. I hope you are doing well. Let me tell you that my family and I do not attend any church at the moment. I want to open my heart with you through this means. Unfortunately, my father passed away many years ago and my mom has been in prison since April of this year. The one who takes care of me is my grandmother, on the side of my mom. Her full name is Victoria Zavaleta Barrios, and she is 51 years old. She makes a living by baking and selling cupcakes to support me. We need shoes, clothes, and groceries. Fortunately, we are in good health. As for pets, let me tell you that we have two dogs at home.

Now, I want to tell you a little bit more about myself. I am 14 years old, and this year, I was in seventh grade. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because I understand the lessons much better. I would love to continue studying because I want to become a lawyer and speak English. Therefore, I would love to count on your prayers for me and my grandma. I like Holy Week because of summer and vacation. My favorite drink is hibiscus tea, and I love basketball. There are many things that I like to do when my birthday comes. What I love the most is going outside with my family to celebrate. To end this letter, I want you to know that my grandma helped me to give all this information to an AAC member to share my story with you. We are grateful to LW because of all the blessings that we have received. May God bless you and all those who bless many needy people like me through this project!

Cordiality yours,

Wesley Donovan Eliud Mejia Lopez
