It is a pleasure to write you in this opportunity. My name is Madely Eliana Riz Garcia, and I am now 9 years old. This year I am studying in the third grade. Most of the time, I study at home but I also go to school to received classes on Wednesday and Friday. When I go to school, my teacher gives me a study guide and I leave my homework with her. This method has been difficult for me because I feel that I am not learning as I should. My father earns a living working as a farmer and also as a mason’s helper. My mother spends time taking care of us and our home. This current health situation has been difficult for my family because my father sometimes could not find work, but thank God, we have been able to go ahead with the grocery bag that we have received though the feeding program. We were able to see God´s faithfulness because in middle of this hard situation, He has provided all the necessities to cover our needs. The Lord kept us safe and none of our loved ones have been infected with this terrible disease. We are members of a Christian church called “Asamblea de Dios” and our services are on Wedneday, Friday and Sunday. I want to tell you that my mother provided this information by phone because the evangelism teachers were unable to visit us in person due to the health situation. God bless Adopt-a-Child for helping the families, especially during this hard time.
