My Story

Hello! I am so happy to send you many greetings and I hope you are doing very well together with your loved ones. Thank God we all are in good health. I want to tell you that I am living with my parents and siblings. My father works as a farmer and does odd jobs in order to cover our basic needs. My mother is housewife and takes care of my siblings and me. We do not travel to work on the coast. At home we have hens, turkeys and goats. When we have some need, my mother sells some of them. My older sister Maria weaves typical clothes to sell and in that way she can help a little bit with the income.

This year my parents were thinking to enroll me at school, but I was afraid to go and they told me that it is much better to wait until next year due to my age. Next year I am going to attend school. For now I do not know what I would like to be when I am older. Now, I enjoy playing toy cars and soccer.  I like to attend the feeding program and especially I like o eat fried chicken and sausages. I help my mother to feed our animals or I go with my siblings to shepherd the goats. We really like Christmas time because we eat tamales (typical food) and some fruits.  I light some firecrackers, and we enjoy this beautiful time all together. We are attending Assembly of God Church, and I love the praises and learning a little more about God´s love. I am so happy to know that you are supporting me through Living Water.  Thank you very much for your love. I would like to have chance to meet you someday and know about your life. Take care of yourself. I say good-bye to you for now. Many blessings!

With much love

Mynor Anibal De La Cruz Riz
