Hello! I greet you in the name of Jesus, hoping you are doing well. I am Omar Eliseo Gutierrez Barrera, and I want to share my news with you. I am 11 years old. I am in fourth grade at school. I have classes in the morning. I like weekends because my brother and I can carry firewood at home. I love Christmastime because I can receive gifts at LW. I am glad to be part of this project! I love eating fried chicken at the feeding program. As for health, let me tell you that my family and I are doing well. I live with my mom, youngest brother, and grandparents. Unfortunately, my father abandoned us some years ago. He used to help us economically, but he stopped doing it. My mom works hard by weaving traditional clothes.
She also sells domestic animals to support our family’s needs. We raise hens, turkeys, and cows. My grandfather makes a living as a farmer. He helps us a little bit economically. He sometimes buys clothes for my brother and me. We have attended Prince of Peace Christian Church for many years. Thankfully, my mom already accepted Jesus as her Savior. To end this letter, I want you to know that my mom gave all this information to a teacher of LW. We appreciate him for his encouraging words. I say goodbye to you for now but thank you so much for reading my letter. May God bless you!
Many kisses and hugs,
Omar Eliseo Gutierrez Barrera
