Hi! This is Dominga Elisa, and I am writing this letter to introduce myself. I am 14 years old, and I am in good health. I no longer attend school due to our low resources. I stay at home doing the household chores. I am under the care of my grandparents, and when they get sick, it is a hard and difficult situation for me. I can see God’s help in those hard times because He has healed them. I love Jesus because He gave his life for me. I identify a lot with my grandmother because she does her best to take care of my siblings and me. Let me tell you about Ana Benito. She has been my friend for 7 years, and we love attending the feeding program together.
As I told you before, I live with my grandparents because my mother is working far away. She is working in a tortillas business in Guatemala City. She frequently communicates with us and comes home every 3 months. My grandpa Cirilo is a day laborer, and he is 81 years old. My grandma Dominga is a housewife, and she is 70 years old. My mom covers our needs, but if they buy something, they share it with my siblings and me. My father is still in the United States, and I do not have much information about him; he just helps us a little with our expenses. My parents are separated.
We are members of the Catholic Church, and I love it when there are thanksgiving mases. We are sure to go to heaven. I tell you that, in this occasion, my grandfather helped me to give my information to the Evangelism team. I hope you find it interesting. I wish you the best and hope to have good news from you.
Many blessings
Dominga Elisa Benito Mendoza
