Child
Special regards from Guatemala City! I am Madeline Georgina Subuyuj Calderon, and it is a privilege to share with you a little about my life. Fortunately, I am healthy. I am 18 years old and I am grateful to LW-Adopt A Child for loving and blessing me. My family and I pray that God blesses all those who support this organization which continues helping children in need like they have done with me. I have attended the feeding program for about twelve years. The spiritual assistance they offer was what caught my mother’s attention and prompted her to send me there. I like the Bible classes because the evangelism team encourages and teaches me to value how good the Lord has been with me.
At school, I am doing my best as an eleventh-grade student. This is the last year of my training in computing. Between cold and hot weather, I prefer cold because it is much better and I feel encouraged to do my tasks faster. At home, I usually clean my bedroom. I am glad to tell you that my mother is doing well and has a stable job in a butcher shop. As you remember, we have gone through hard moments since my father passed away. However, God has been good and has strengthened us to keep going. Brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) recently shared the gospel and encouraged us to continue trusting in God. We stopped attending church, but I hope we can back soon. This is all at the moment, but thank you so much for having taken the time to read my information.
Sincerely yours,
Madeline Georgina Subuyuj Calderon
