My Story

Hello! I am so happy to greet you with this letter hope you are fine. This is Sinthya Cecilia Tino Perez and I am 11 years old. We are still attending the Liberty Church from Living Water. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team who shared the gospel and encouraged us to continue seeking God and trust in him. My mother`s name is Petronila Perez Quinilla and she is 36 years old. Nowadays, she is a housewife and continues doing embroidery work on napkins to sell. At home, she raises hens. My father’s name is Domingo Tiño. He is in the United States, and he continues helping us with the family expenses. Also he gets in communication with us. Thankfully, all my family is in good health. We are grateful to you and to LW because we have been blessed in different ways with meals, medical and dental attention, and spiritual support also, I also feel so happy when I receive the Christmas gift at the end of the year.

This year, I am in 5th grade at school. I am receiving face-to-face classes from Monday to Friday, and I like this study method because it is easier to understand the homework. Thankfully, my parents are making an effort to cover my school expenses even though they do not have a stable job, and school supplies are so expensive that sometimes it is hard for them to cover my expenses. In the future, I want to become a teacher. My native dialect is Maya Quiche, but I would like to learn English; I think it is a very important language. My favorite celebration of the year is Christmas because we share a good time with our loved ones. I like to drink fruit smoothies. My favorite sport is soccer. What I like to do on my birthday is to buy a delicious cake. As we are a humble family, our current needs are black beans, corn, and groceries. May God bless you and reward you in every area of your life!

Many hugs,

Sinthya Cecilia Tino Perez
