My Story

Hello! How are you? I hope you are doing well. My name is Elida Marisol, and I am 12 years old now. I am writing this to tell you about my life and family. I live with my parents, and thankfully, they are in good health. My mother’s name is Florinda, and she is 34 years old. She works hard at home and takes care of us. My father’s name is Augusto, and he is 37 years old. He works as a day laborer to support the family. We are raising one pig and two cows, and we will sell them to improve our income. We are a humble family, and at the moment, our needs are groceries and corn. We are still members of the Catholic Church, and we attend the mass on Thursday and Sunday. We are assured of our Salvation.

I am healthy, and I am in 5^th grade this year; I prefer to attend school in person because I learn more. It has been difficult for my parents to cover my school expenses. I want to continue studying and become a professional. My family does not celebrate my birthday due to our low resources. I like drinking juices, and I love playing soccer. My favorite celebration is Holy Week because of the typical dishes of those days. I receive delicious lunches every week, and I am grateful to Living Water and you for that; you are very important for me. I say goodbye to you for now, and I pray God blesses you in a big way.
