My Story

First, thank you so much for taking the time to read my letter. I am Jason, and it is a pleasure to greet you through this means. I hope you are doing well. Let me tell you that I attend the Catholic Church. My family and I usually attend mass on Sundays and Thursdays. I live with my parents and sister Julia. My parents are Camilo Garcia, who is 40 years old, and Aurelia Barrera, who is 41 years old. The one who supports our needs is my father. He carries packages or people from one place to another in his car, while my mother dedicates her time to our family. We raise a pair of hens for our consumption. As for health, I suffer from bloody noses, but my health is stable while my family is completely healthy. I am fourteen years old. I am attending the seventh grade. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes to learn more and better.

My current education level is more expensive than last year; I need to bring school materials with me. The best sport for me is soccer, so I would like to become a successful soccer player. I also want to speak English fluently. Therefore, I would like to count on your prayers for me.  My favorite holiday is Christmas; I enjoy burning firecrackers to celebrate that lovely time. There are many fruit juices, but there is nothing better than a delicious orange juice. I had my birthday in June. What I love the most is having a delicious lunch to celebrate with my family. Before ending this letter, I want you to know that a teacher of the LW evangelism team shared the gospel with my mother and collected my last news for you. The feeding program is a meaningful project for my family because your loving support blesses me in different ways. I say goodbye to you for now, but I wish the best for you.

Sincerely yours,

Jason David Garcia Barrera
