My Story

I am grateful to have the opportunity to update you about my life. I pray that you are doing fine and healthy in your country. First, I want to start by telling you that we are not attending any church. We appreciate that the LW team shared the gospel with my mother and me. I live happily with both of my parents. My father`s name is Rigoberto Morente Xirum and he is 57 years old. He struggles to support our family every day. He continues working as a mason. My mother`s name is Manuela Garcia Castro, and she is 47 years old. She spends her time at home doing the housework and taking care of us. As you may remember, she suffers from diabetes. Thankfully, she continues with her treatment. We do not have any domestic animals at home. Moreover, we do not grow anything because we do not have the space to do it.

I am Nancy Noemi Morente Garcia. I am 15 years old. I was an eighth-grade student. I did not repeat. I feel having face-to-face classes helps me to understand my subjects better. It is a little hard for my father to cover all of my school expenses because the cost of life is increasing, and he is the only provider at home. In the future, I would like to graduate as a nurse. My favorite beverage is Horchata (typical Guatemalan drink. I like spending my birthday with my whole family. I would like to learn English someday if I have the opportunity. My favorite sport is soccer. Thankfully, my health is good. Our basic necessities at home are corn and groceries. Lastly, I want to thank Living Water for blessing not only me, but my family too. We bless every person by name in the name of Jesus. Before saying goodbye, let me tell you that my mother gave this information to the LW team.
