I greet you lovingly, hoping you are doing well. My name is Olga, and I want to share my last news with you. My family and I attend Full Gospel Church on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. We trust in our salvation. A teacher of the LW evangelism team spoke with my mother, Ana Chingo, to collect this information for you. He also encouraged my mother to continue growing spiritually. My father, Felipe Ruiz, is 37 years old. He works as a day laborer and sells French fries at La Plaza. My mother is 32 years old. She keeps busy with the household chores. We raise hens and grow corn for our consumption. As for health, my family is doing well. I suffer from gastritis, but I am stable since I already take my treatment. I turned fifteen years old in August. My parents could not celebrate my birthday because of a lack of money.
I am in sixth grade this year. I am glad to attend face-to-face classes at school because I learn my lessons better. Our economic situation is not good. My father sometimes does not have enough resources to cover my school equipment. Therefore, I would like to count on your prayers for my family and me. My biggest dream is to become a teacher when I am older. I also would like to learn how to speak English. Christmastime is my favorite because I enjoy burning firecrackers. I like to drink mosh (a typical hot beverage) and play soccer. To end this letter, I want you to know the feeding program is a meaningful project for my family and me. My siblings and I receive delicious lunches there. I say goodbye to you for now, but I hope the Almighty rewards you richly for being a good-hearted person with me!
With much love,
Olga Nohemi Ruiz Chingo
