My Story

Hello! I greet you in the name of Jesus and I hope you and your family are doing fine. I am Alex Zacarias Pastor Hernandez. I am 23 years old and I want to share a little about my family and me through this letter. My mother`s name is Rosa Hernandez Benito. She is 47 years old. Nowadays, she continues doing chores at home. In addition, she is raising hens and pigs to sell and get some income. My father`s name is Rafael Pastor Ruiz and he is 49 years old. Currently, he earns a living by working as a farmer and he supports us with home expenses. I ask for your prayers for him because he suffers from hemorrhoids. Fortunately, he visited the doctor and now he is under medical treatment but sometimes the problem appears again. Thank God, we continue attending the Emmanuel Church once a week. As a big family, our current need is corn. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team for their encouraging words during the visit to my mother. I want to let you know that the rest of my family is in good health.

As you know, I am not in school because I am a deaf-mute person, but I help with chores at home. Currently, I suffer from nervous gastritis. I visited the doctor and I was under medical treatment, but my medicine ran out and we cannot buy it due to a lack of financial resources, but I will visit LW’s doctor soon. Please pray for my health. My favorite celebration of the year is Christmas because I like to go to “las posadas” (it is a small procession that represents when Joseph and Mary were looking for a place where Jesus could be born). “Mosh” is the beverage that I prefer (a hot drink made with oatmeal). Among sports, I prefer cycling. What I enjoy for my birthday is eating a delicious cake. We are grateful to Living Water because I receive the meals, medical and dental attention, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive at the end of the year.
