My Story

Hello! I want to start this letter praying that God’s grace and peace be with your loved ones and you. My name is Santa Floridalma Jessenia Cux Cux, and I am 14 years old. I am glad to share my updated information with you. I am grateful to the Lord because I am healthy. I work in a second-hand clothing store three times a week. That makes me happy because I can cover some of my expenses. The one who supports my family is my father. He works as a farmer and day laborer in our village.

When I stay home, I like helping my mother with the chores. Besides dedicating her time to our family, she weaves typical blankets. I admire her because she trusts that Jesus is her savior. My whole family and I attend the Catholic Church. I am so happy because Jesus is not only my Savior, but my unconditional friend too. Let me tell you that I made a good friend at the feeding program about one year ago. Her name is Juanita. This is all for now, but I want you to know that my mother and I shared this information with a staff member of LW, so you could hear about my life. See you later!
