My Story

This is Pedro Leonardo Hernandez Tino, and I am writing this to update my 2023 information. First, I will tell you about my family. We are still members of Prince of Peace Church, and we attend the service once a week. We are assured in our Salvation. We raise hens and they are for our consumption. We do not have crops since we do not have a piece of land to sow crops. We are a humble family, and our greatest needs are groceries like corn and black beans. My father’s name is Manuel. He is 50 years old, and he is in good health. He works making tiles to cover our needs. My mother’s name is Lucia. She is 33 years old, and she is in good health too. She works hard at home and takes care of us.

Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 12 years old, and I am healthy. I am in 4^th grade, and I am happy to receive face-to-face classes because I learn more. It has been difficult for my mother to cover my school supplies due to our economic situation. I want to get a good job when I am older, and I would like to learn English language. My favorite celebration is Christmas because I like eating “tamales”. It would be nice to receive a cake for my birthday. I prefer soccer as a sport, and I love drinking “mosh” which is a hot beverage made from oats. Living Water is very important in my life, and I am grateful for the delicious food received.
