I send you warm greetings hoping you are fine. This is Marvin Leonel, and I am writing this letter to tell you a little about me. I am healthy, and I am 13 years old. My family has the custom to celebrate my birthday with a cake and a small present. I am in 6th grade, and I am happy to attend school in person because the teacher’s explanation is better and it is easier to do my homework. My mother does not have a stable job and has many expenses, so it has been difficult for her to support me with my studies. I want to become a teacher when I am older, and I would like to learn English language. I like playing soccer, and I love drinking coffee and water. My favorite year’s season is winter because of the rain.
I am under the care and responsibility of my parents. My mother’s name is Maria, and she is 58 years old. She works hard at home and raises domestic animals for selling. My father’s name is Francisco, and he is 64 years old. He does not work because he has health issues. He cannot stand for a long time and he also has problems with his upper extremities; he suffered a stroke years ago and it caused him these problems. Please keep him in your prayers. My oldest brother works as an electrician, and he is supporting us financially. We have pigs, turkeys and hens at home, and we grow some corn and black beans for our consumption. At the moment, we are in need of groceries and soap. We attend church on Saturday; we have accepted Jesus as our personal Savior. Living Water has been a great blessing for my family and me, and I am very grateful for that.
All the best
