My Story

My name is Emerson, and it is a privilege to greet you through this update. I hope you are doing well. Let me tell you that LW has been a crucial project in our community; we received food parcels during the hardest moments of the pandemic. Besides receiving delicious lunches and medicines, my family and I can attend Liberty Church from LW. We usually attend our services twice weekly. My father, Venancio Tecu, is 42 years old. As you know, he has lived and worked in the United States to support our family. He still makes a living by packaging lobsters. My mother, Cecilia Ixcotoyac, is 46 years old. She keeps busy doing the chores and taking care of my younger siblings. We work by raising hens and growing corn for our consumption. Thankfully, my whole family is doing well. I am fourteen years old, and I am a healthy boy. I am happy because I am in eighth grade.

I agree to receive face-to-face classes because it helps me to learn more about lessons and resolve doubts about homework.  Fortunately, my father has not had trouble covering my school needs. I want to become a teacher when I am older, so I am doing my best to accomplish it. Holy Week is my favorite holiday; I love visiting lovely places with my family. If I could learn a new language like English, I would like to try it. My birthday was in June. What I love the most about my birthday is eating a delicious cake. I love drinking Coca-Cola. There are many sports, but my favorite is soccer. To end this letter, I want you to know that a teacher of the evangelism team spoke with my mother to collect this information for you. He also encouraged our family through her to continue knowing God’s love. I say goodbye to you now, but I hope to hear from you soon.

With much love,

Emerson Daniel Tecu Ixcotoyac
