My Story

Hello, I am delighted to greet you and I hope you and yours are doing great! My name is Irma Yadira Ruiz Luis. My current age is 13 years old. I no longer attend school, and I spend my time weaving items for selling to get income, and I help my mother with the housework. Let me tell you that my father left to go to the United States last year; however, he abandoned us and has no communication with us. The last we knew about him is that he has another partner. Thankfully, one sister and one brother are working in the USA, and they are the ones who support us economically. My mother does the housework and weaves typical items for selling to help herself with some income. We raise hens, sheep and pigs, and we cultivate corn for our livelihood.

I love the Christmas celebration that the evangelism team prepares in the feeding program; I enjoy the carols. I thank God for allowing me to be part of the Living Water program and receive tasty food, and my favorite is fried chicken. We attend Prince of Peace Church; my mother and I received Jesus into our hearts. I want you to pray for my family and my sibling´s studies.
