Hello! I am so glad to greet you. I hope you are in good health together with your family. My name is Teresa Toj De La Cruz and I am grandmother of your sponsored child Mynor Ronaldo Ajqui Morente. He is 14 years old and I enrolled him in fourth grade. He attends school for a short time and hands in homework on Mondays. I have noticed that he is not very interested in studying and I think that it would be better for him to have more time at school to learn enough. I would like to ask for your prayers for him since he is having bad behaviors with my husband and me so that he realizes that he is acting incorrectly. As you know, Mynor’s parents continue working in the United States and my son occasionally sends us money. Therefore, Mynor lives with my husband and me. My husband works as a day laborer while I weave items for selling and in that way, we cover our needs. The current world situation affected my husband’s job because he did not have an occupation for a while, and due to that, we were not able to cover all the necessities in our family.
However, we received support from the school, other organizations and our relatives. We also could receive grocery bags from the feeding program and they were a big blessing for my whole family. So, I am so grateful to you for supporting and loving us through Living Water. I also want to tell you that God’s wonders are really amazing because I was seriously ill from my stomach last year, but He put his blessed and nurturing hands on my body and now I am healthy. Due to this miracle, I am convinced that He has watched over us because my whole family is in good health. We are members of the Catholic Church and we attend it on Wednesdays. Finally, let me tell you that I assisted a member of the Evangelism team to update this information about my grandson by phone since the staff want to protect us from the current pandemic. I leave you at the moment, but I want to let you know that we really appreciate all that you have done in our lives.
Sending you the warmest hugs,
Teresa Toj De La Cruz
